Transforming teaching and learning so that technology is integrated throughout teacher education is a formidable challenge. Since 1999, PT3 grantees have been experimenting with a wide range of srategies to help their institutions make this transformation. From innovative faculty development plans to e-portfolios, grantees are discovering how to motivate faculty and integrate technology in ways that enhance teacher education.
Included here are just a few stories about the strategies grantees are using to transform their programs. As grant projects are still "works in progress" pending final outcomes data and analysis, those included here are not meant to be seen as "model" projects. Instead, they have been selected as being representative of the range of strategies and experiences shared by grantees.
